TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR A CASH BAR PROVIDED BY HOSPITALITY HOUSE LTD.

Thank you for showing an interest in our company. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional service and one that you can trust will delivery beyond your expectations. Our attention to detail from initial enquiry to the event itself is second to none. We love what we do and supplying our bespoke bar to weddings and events across the North of England is an honour.

Our staff are fantastic and the backbone of Hospitality House. We treat them very fairly and they all really enjoy working for us which shows in their work ethic and dedication to the job in hand. We are based in Sheffield but cover a 50 mile radius of the city. Any questions regarding our T’s and C’s please do not hesitate in getting in touch.

Thank you Kathryn and Steve.

  1. We have full Public Liability and Employers Liability insurance. Copies of this can be supplied upon request.

  2. Our staff should be working in an area with an acceptable working environment including being in a dry location at an acceptable temperature.

  3. We adhere to www.drinkaware.co.uk recommendations and guidelines. We always check with, and adhere to, the venue’s special requests, for example requiring the use of plastic cups. We don’t serve alcohol to anybody under the age of 18.

  4. A deposit of £250.00 secures the date with us.

  5. Prices for the cash bar hire include VAT. Our vat number is 315 0030 69.

  6. If we are supplying a cash bar then the booker will be made aware of the minimum amount we need to take in order for the deposit to be refunded.

  7. If the minimum spend is reached, then a full refund will be given to the booker within 5 working days after the event (subject to the booker sending the refund bank details).

  8. The booker understands that if the minimum spend is not reached then only a proportion of the monies (that match the sales) will be refunded.

  9. A Z reading will be available to the booker at any point during the evening.

  10. Any money received in bar sales over the minimum amount will be that of Hospitality House Ltd.

  11. If the booker is providing their own drinks for during the day / meal then the booker will be asked to remove all alcohol they have proved at a set time, this is usually after the meal has been cleared and the evening bar is open. This is to try and ensure the minimum amount of bar sales is reached.

  12. When we leave our base to travel to your venue we factor in potential delays; this ensures that bad traffic etc. is nearly never an issue. However, if events out with our control occur we cannot be held responsible, and will always do our utmost to ensure this does not affect our service. We will keep the booker or nominated person updated of any delays due to motorway closures or other serious incidents.

  13. We confirm delivery and collection dates and times prior to the event.

  14. As you will appreciate when we provide a stocked and staffed mobile bar it is impossible for us to supply an infinite amount of each product, so please be aware that it is inevitable that we may run out of products at any function, however we do provide a wide range of products to ensure you will always have a good selection of drinks.

  15. We can never guarantee the availability of any particular product unless paid for in advance.

  16. Should we attempt an equipment delivery or collection and we cannot do this successfully due to no answer at the property or no access available at the property we reserve the right to charge a re-delivery/re-collection charge of £89 to cover costs of returning at a later date.

  17. You have a 7 day cooling off period from when the deposit invoice is paid, if you decide to cancel in this time then we will refund you minus £50 for our administration and time already spent.

  18. In the unlikely event you are required to cancel a booking after the cooling off period, deposits and other payments are non- returnable. There is no exception to this. Any event cancellations must be made in writing, via email.

  19. In the unlikely event that we attend a location and are not able to provide the service for reason outside of our control, no refund will be due nor will we be able to return at a later date. For example, attending an event that has been postponed without us having been notified in writing of the postponement.

  20. We require access as near as possible to our designated set-up area; if no parking suitable for a van is nearby this may delay the set-up and therefore start of our service time.

  21. It is the responsibility of the equipment hirer to keep the equipment in a good and safe condition until it has been recollected by us, regardless of collection date and time.

  22. We require a minimum of 2 plug sockets (for the fridges) to where the bar is to be located. 3 if the booker wants to have the bar lights on – recommended.

  23. We require a ‘back of house’ area to wash and turn glasses around. Wash station can be provided by Hospitality House but we need access to water and power if there is no running hot water at the event site.

  24. Bookings are confirmed when a deposit payment has been made and not before. We uphold the right to seek other business on the same day if deposit payments are late.

  25. We do not tolerate any form of abuse whilst working.

  26. At the event Hospitality House can receive payments in cash and PDQ sales as long as there is a phone signal at the event venue. We recommend checking on this and advising guests if it is cash sales only in advance, particularly important if you are in a remote location.

  27. By paying your deposit, rental payment or other booking payment you agree to the Terms & Conditions which we operate under.
