What area do you cover?

We cover a 50 mile radius of Sheffield but can travel further on request. 


 
 

What do you wear?

We are smart dressed in black with black aprons. We wear a gold tie to match with our brand or we can wear a tie of your choosing to fit with a colour scheme.  For a more relaxed look we wear braces.  We are always smart and very well presented.


Can we meet up before my Event?

Absolutely! We would love to, either we can arrange for you to come into our office in Sheffield or we can come to visit you at your planed event location. 


Is there a minimum booking period?

Yes - 5 hours.


How do I know how many staff to hire?

Well this all depends on your food and drink service, your guest numbers and layout of your venue. We can discuss this with you and give you the most efficient team for your event.  As a rule of thumb for plated food service we recommend you hire 1 waiting staff for every 12 guests and for a buffet it would be 1 waiting staff for every 20 guests. If you only need staff to serve drinks on a bar then approximately 1 staff for every 35 people.


Should I worry about the staff I hire to carry out the duties correctly?

No not at all, we have carefully interviewed, referenced checked, selected and trained all our staff. We work closely with them to offer support and training throughout their time with us. All events will have a supervisor present who is responsible for managing the staff.


How do I secure the date with you?

We ask for a £50 deposit to secure your event date with us for staff hire and £150 deposit for the bar.


How and when do I pay?

You will be sent an invoice once you have confirmed you wish to proceed, we ask that you pay the £50 deposit on receipt and the remainder 1 week before your event.  You can pay by BACS, cheque or cash (if you want to come into the office).


Are there travel costs?

Yes if your event is outside Sheffield we charge 45p a mile for each car/ van that travels plus travel time to staff at cost, so we can pay our staff fairly.


Can I hire glasses without the bar?

Yes you can hire glasses along with our staff if need be.  We will arrive with them polished and leave with them dirty meaning no washing up for you. No deposit and no charge for breakages either.
